Martin OM-28 Standard Series Acoustic Guitar inc Case
The Martin Standard Series acoustic guitars that shaped modern music. They’re the backbone of the Martin acoustic guitar range distinguished instruments that created the template for the American acoustic flattop acoustic guitar. The Martin Standard Series models embody nearly two centuries of craftsmanship and technique—history made from wood and wire. These legendary guitars and the artists who played them helped establish country, folk, bluegrass, and rock. Today, you’ll hear their ringing tone echoing across the American soundscape and in music around the world.
These classics are handmade in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, from solid wood, using time-honored construction such as dovetail neck joints and X-bracing. If you want to play an American classic with a long, distinguished pedigree, a guitar your musical heroes likely used to create your favorite songs, an instrument whose impact on music is far too big to be calculated, a Standard Series is for you.
- All solid wood
- Traditional dovetail neck joint
- Optional electronics
- Scalloped bracing
- Antique white binding
- Open gear tuners
- Aging toner for vintage finish
The Martin OM28 series guitar has a wonderful balanced tone with all strings ringing clearly and with beautiful sustain. The feel of the neck is so comfortable and the playing action is great for both finger style and strumming. A wonderful guitar to own and play.
The Martin OM28 is compact and commanding, scalloped bracing brings your sound to life—fingerpicking, strumming or soloing. Perfect balance across all six strings, bold herringbone, East Indian rosewood, ebony, Sitka spruce, and vintage appointments give a classic look to a timeless sound.
